Skin conditions

- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Seborrhoeic Dermatitis
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Impetigo
- Lichen Simplex
- Urticaria
- Lichen Planus
- Herpes Simplex
- Herpes Zoster
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine is the main approach to skin problems. Close examination of the skin, is combined with understanding of Western diagnosis, triggers to disease, severity and duration of disease. This information determines your Chinese Medicine diagnosis which informs your treatment plan.
Herbs are prescribed according to you personal needs and changed over time, as the skin changes. Regular consultations are required to adjust your formula as treatment progresses.
Herbs can offered in different forms, as ready prepared herbal decoctions (tea), raw herbs (which you cook), or as concentrated herbal granules (a modern innovation) to which you just add hot water. Recommendation will be made to suit your personal circumstances and preferences. The cost of herbs will depend on the prescription (type and amount).
